    Wonder if the additional electronic advertising boards (which were all installed yesterday, by the way) are anything to do with the match being shown live on prime time terrestial tv?

    Maybe we'd get a slice of that if we didn't keep get knocked out in the first round of competitions.

    If we did install such advertising boards, the Club would need to ensure its marketing department was pro-active in ensuring there were adverts to display.

    Just a follow up on the electronic boards;

    1. They obviously obscure the existing advertising boards. If I had a company with one I would be pretty peed off when the eyes of the world are watching and my board was hidden.

    2. Any additional advertising revenue goes straight to the TV company, as the boards all advertise FA sponsors. The extra money comes from the BBC and they take all the extra income but pay for the costs of installation.

    By the way, all the boards had gone the following day.
