Jordan Bowery - not very nice words from Leyton Orient suit

Quote from Leyton Orient Chief Exec, working with the owner Beccheti to sell the club:

“In regards to player departures … Jordan Bowery’s contribution during the first half of the season was imperceptible, so his departure can be considered neutral."

    Ouch

Bit of a pity what's happened to Orient since that memorable day. So glad we don't have maverick owners like that.

He's going to drift into non-league - or no league. Been on a downward slide for 3 or 4 years. Looks the part but never fully utilised his attributes. Was going to say talents but have to question whether he really has any. Seemed to think he'd made it, not recognising he still had to work hard to improve and develop.

I don't know if it was because he had a bad attitude or whether he simply wasn't brave enough.
He's built like a brick outhouse but generally plays like a rickety shed.

Both had some pedigree to be fair, I wonder what proportion of signings in the Championship go on to be successful at their club

Bowery had a chance with the Millers after signing from Aston Villa, but he didn't take it, & was shown the exit door, he never won a header against a defender, because he never jumped high enough.

Never forget a game he played in away against Boro. He was so lazy and disinterested. Very poor attitude
