Marshall should he stay or should he go now

    Let him go
1 million is not great business but we cannot afford sulking players
fully expect him to depart before the window closes.

The trouble is, Robin, he does have a bit more class than most of our players. One million seems low to me. On the other hand, it does increase the chances of one or two of our development players getting on the pitch. Mixed feelings, really.

Well - too late now: he's gone. Let's hope we don't just sign an extra workmanlike winger. It must be time to give Mahoney a go!

I for one am pretty pleased he is gone
he was class on occasions missing on others
inconsistent much the like the team as a whole
this opens the door for Mahoney I hope he gets his chance and grabs it with both hands.

Quality player, especially as a right-back,but inconsistent, agreed. Probably really worth c.£5 million in todays market, but given he was nearly out of contract Venkys can count themselves lucky to get (guesstimate) £1 million.

As they appear to be messing about with Lowe and Mahoneys contracts the same thing could happen again. Whatever you think of Lowe,he is probably still one of our saleable assets,as is Mahoney. The incompetence is baffling??
