By that I mean used incorrectly, to label something as X when it clearly is not X?
For me the terms 'racist' and 'fascist' are the ones.
The left-wingers on here throw these words around like Rik of the Young Ones at anyone who doesn't agree with them or doesn't let them have their own way.
"Racist" at the moment is the trump card (pun intended) that the left uses to close down any argument that they are losing. In the vast majority of cases it is never used correctly. The person being called a 'racist' is not a 'racist'.
"Fascist' however, is probably the most misused. I can forgive Mikethemiller because he is just a college kid but some of the older ones haven't a clue what the word means.
They seem to think that anyone who reads the Daily Mail is a fascist. Really. You are comparing your typical suburban hard working Mail readers, who neatly trim their front lawns with violent jack-booted blackshirts? The aforementioned Mail readers are decent people who just want a more courteous and civilised society. They are not the type to daub slogans on people's front doors and gather in large groups and intimidate physically, those who don't agree with them. They just politely put across their views in the letters page of the Mail and are accused of being 'Fascist"
Now at the moment brassgnat and others will be fumbling like mad on the keyboard to tell me of the Daily Mail's link to the Nazi party in the war years. Don't bother. I know all this. But it was 80 years ago....the paper has moved on.
So please think before throwing the word "fascist" at the hardworking readers of Britain's finest newspaper and think isn't this just a bit OTT?
