Billy Simpson says there that he has supported Queens for twenty years in that 1979 piece so we're are talking late 50's. A fair shift that!

The supporter of the month piece there that meant a lot to me was the one on Andy Inglis. Andy was friends with my dad and used to pass Queens programmes to my old man to give to me. I am forever grateful to Andy and wouldn't have such a back catalogue of programmes or be able to do threads like this without his generosity. I remember he travelled everywhere watching the national team and used to pass Scotland home and away programmes on to me as well. I don't know if Andy is still alive , does anyone know ?

Just read that 1978 piece on Andy in full and he says he has been watching Qos for over 40 years by that point. Do the maths now . He has been watching Queens for 80 YEARS . Deserves a VC for that !

Hammer spoke to Andy Inglis yesterday in the Palmy Social Club where he goes every home game and told him your story. He didn't remember your dad tbh but was pleased of the interest shown by yourself.
PS - He is now 88.

I'll try to put on some photos later but the camera on my phone seems to be failing so this could be the last season covered. Here is a familiar extract from a Queens programme of that period ( if you can make it out ?)
