As a championship game, this one doesn't get any bigger, Wolves against the league leaders. Paul Lambert and the fans will want a reaction after last weekend's defeat at Burton.

Hi Woodie, wish it was a bit 'nippy' here as well, mate. We're in the middle of a bluddy heat wave (at 7.30pm it was still 43C in outer western Sydney). Will be watching the game also on Bein Sports 1, so let's hope the lads give a good account of themselves. I shall expect a comment fronm you at the break....COYW !!!

Hiya Grizz. Yes I saw that heat wave business in the papers. Wicked even by Aussie standards. That's why beer was invented anyway!

Not a bad start anyway. We don't look out of our depth.

Have had the better of the match. But only two clear opportunities. Both pushed wide.

Been impressed with Bright. Worked hard and has gotten past his man a few times. Only just turned 19, but would love for him to get his first league goal with us

Crap! That's what happens when you don't put your chances away. And for me we have been the better side up to now.

Three players went up for that header and knocked themselves out of the action. Someone must communicate!

A close game, but Wolves a tad unlucky to go in a goal down at the break. Prior to the Mitrovic strike , Wolves had limited Newcastle to just one real chance in the 3rd minute, which was well saved by Ikeme. We are stlll well in this, so keep at 'em you Wolfies !!!
