its a difficult one , i remember some good performances but also the dire , he is well known to the management who appear to understand his strengths and weaknesses , i still dont think full back is his natural position but he is good coverage for the back 4 , if we think of the amount of signings we have made defensively and no real tangible improvement then i cant see why this is a poor signing. i thought he had a good game on saturday and hope that this will continue. i recall his commitment in games when others would " hide" he is a steady if uninspiring player

I'm "meh" about it.
Decent back up (in an ideal world) as he can play CB & LB....but I'd rather we signed a proper centre mid and had GS at left back.
But I've been saying that for 18 months.
That leaves Jack, Taylor, McGinn & Pawlett.
Not sure if any of the 4 will be here come August - maybe Jack?
Taylor & McGinn will head south and I'm not sure Pawlett will be offered anything

Well done Andy, a local loon who always gives 100 percent. Think Jack and Taylor will sign next as I can't see where either would get a better gig. McGinn is 50-50 for me. Pawlett I don't think he will be offered anything and rightly so IMO

I am reasonably happy with this.
Yes, he isnt Franco Baresi, or Roberto Carlos, however, he doesn't hide like someone said above. He also doesn't claim to be Baresi or Carlos. I am sure that not only does the management know his limitations, but so does Andy.
A very honest hard working player who is handy to pop up with a goal or two every now and then.

There are better defenders than Considine we could sign too so why not give Taylor a contract as well.

He also doesn't claim to be Baresi or Carlos so get him signed up I reckon
