Dodgy knee, so he'd fit in well. Christie's replacement?

Doesn't matter who we get in, they'll still have to manage the same over-hyped players.

If we had stuck with Clough and given him quarter the money ........

All our best and consistent players are still who he brought in. Oh in hindsight .... or not for some of us

If we had....we would probably be mid table either way but playing before crowds of 12,000 bored fans.

I think Nigel exemplifies the Peter Principle rather well - percussive sublimation at its best.

I think he struggles to manage small clubs too. I'm hoping he goes to dogs like he has already!

    Exactly this

Too many average players.. we're the definition of a club that went for quantity over quality.. Brighton signed a lot less players but got in quality and only in positions that needed sorting out.

We on the other hand brought in 3 players for every position and not many of them would get into a top 6 side. probably Ince and Hughes (who himself has dropped off this season). Most of our lot would be warming the bench at Brighton and Newcastle.

Can't think who to bring in if mac was let go of in the summer, because they'd need time to sort the problems out which as we know seems to be a no no here at Derby

The only consolation is that Fat Bruce has got Villa in a similar mess in terms of quantity over quality.

'All our best and consistent players are still who he brought in'...really...like who? I think Keogh fits into that category but struggle to think of anyone else. Bryson has has about two decent games in the last two and a half years and seems to have a major fitness problem. Russell still flatters to deceive and Christie still struggles to live up to his undoubted potential. No other regulars left are there?
So that's Keogh then...oh and Hughes, but then you don't rate him.
