Final points prediction for this season..

    Games left to go are..

    Ipswich Away
    SWFC Home
    Brum Away
    Fulham Away
    QPR Home
    Brighton Home
    Reading Away
    Brentford Away
    Preston Home
    Newcastle Away
    Wolves Home
    Burton Away
    Norwich Home
    Wigan Away

I see us getting 24 points which would put us on 81 points and surely that would be enough to see us in the play-offs.

    Ipswich Away Draw
    SWFC Home Draw
    Brum Away Win
Fulham Away Not sure so Lose
    QPR Home Win
    Brighton Home Draw
    Reading Away Lose
    Brentford Away Win
Preston Home We better win this but I'll say draw
    Newcastle Away Lose
    Wolves Home Win
    Burton Away Win

That would give us 23 points, which again should be good enough

At the worst, say an average of 1 an a half points per game, would be 21pts leaving us on 78 so.......... dunno.

14 games to go.....max points 42.....can't see any teams or games in the last 14 that we should be fearful of....I'll go for 36 points which will give us 93 points.....good enough for automatic promotion

From 32 we have already lost more games than 3 play off teams and equal to Hull did in total last season. Monk had a similar pattern at Swansea in that not many draws....so worst case say 6 wins 6 losses...2 draws which would be mid table form ..77 pts. Its the lack of draws that give us a great chance of at least play offs.

At least its all about whether we will get into the playoffs, rather than enduing up in the relegation zone!

    So far so good

I posted 93 a long while back on another thread.
I know it's unlikely but I think we had our bad Patch in and around Sutton. We're playing poorly but winning because we have quality now. The back 4 are crucial. Taylor being back gives a bit of cover as Bera can move over. I do worry about bans though. Need the QPR game over.
One loss (Newcastle), a draw (Reading) and cane the others, wood to get 33 for the season!

Looking at all the top seven teams remaining fixtures I reckon that Newcastle and Brighton have quite easy run ins
Huddersfield are also in a good place - think Leeds, Wednesday and Fulham have quite a few toughies coming up

Which is probably good to be honest. With our main competition to staying in the playoff spots also doing it tough. Not going to catch the others anyway.

We are definitely play off material now, unless we implode - auto has gone. Thankfully my prediction is less than we have achieved so far, so all is good. I am thinking Reading in the twin round game then Hudds at Wembley, hopefully we have the stomach for it - Green should be OK as he has been at that level and so should Woody, but what about the kids?

Bearing in mind our recent form I would say of the teams battling for the play-offs we have the toughest run in..ok we didn't lose today but we really needed all 3 points.

This is how I see it now

    Brighton lose (H)
    Reading draw (A)
    Brentford draw (A)
    Preston win (H)
    Newcastle lose (A)
    Wolves win (H)
    Burton draw (A)
    Norwich win (H)
    Wigan draw (A)

    13 points from these fixtures.

Puts us on 79 points which should be enough.

And make my prediction right - not sure now that we will achieve even that!
