PS: AS for the Barnsley "model" - that would be fine if we could have the injection of funds they'very had from the original sale - and another boost by the sell - on clause of just one player.

That injection of funds has made a great deal of difference to Barnsley's wage structure and abilities to "sweeten" deals.

The Barnsley manager should be measured with these mitigating circumstances taken into account - more money / wages makes for a better manager.

Warnock has done a big interview with the Cardiff media outlining his plans for a promotion campaign next season. Don't think he'll be coming back here !

Warnock coming back to us to get his promotion doesn't make sense, or why would he have bothered trying to keep us up last season? He could have taken us down last year, and gone for promotion from L1 this year, when he had a head start in having worked with the players.

It' hard to disagree with that logic although do you think that he'd have been kept on if we'd gone down?
