I'm proud of the effort put into this evenings game by the Wolves players, the atmosphere was good as anything heard at Molineux for a long time. Chances against a side like Chelsea were always going to be limited. It was just a shame that Saville's effort didn't go in rather than hit the post, fine margins in games are the difference.

The tempo and pressing of the Wolves game plan was a big improvement on the last few games and it needs to be replicated in our next game against Blues.

Chelsea could have found an extra gear if they wanted to, they looked good in possession with Fabregas pulling the strings with an option always available for him. I do think Wolves gave both Victor Moses and Pedro too much space on their respective sides of the pitch. Credit to both Danny Batth and Kortney Hause for the way they played Diego Costa, a difficult customer to play against that's for sure.

It's all about taking your chances in games, Pedro heading Chelsea 1-0 up, he was giving too much space for my liking and for the second, Costa left all alone to score.

Hopefully the positives from this game will see an improvement next Friday against Blues.

All the team need some credit for the performance, it was certainly better than the poor efforts against Burton and Wigan. On a day of cup shocks Chelski were always going to be a bridge too far. None of the remaining teams will want them in the next round.

The two centre backs need a special mention for their efforts..

As above, you have to take your chances in games like these and we didn't. Thought we kept them quiet for much of the game without creating much ourselves.

Back to the relegation battle- the positives from the Liverpool win didn't really transform into league form- not convinced we'll see any different here
