Also the loss of the monetary reward missed out on after losing to Albion Rovers also doesn't help matters.

Can't fault their coverage but there's no financial rewards . Who was it that agreed this deal ?

By the way , yesterday's attendance for a semi final was embarrassing and it was not helped by being live on ALBA and the 5.15 KO
Living outside of Scotland it was a great to be able to watch the game on the tv. From a selfish point of view I was able to play football in the afternoon and then watch the game with my friends in the evening.

We should be greatful for any sort of television coverage in order to raise the profile of the club outside of Scotland as well. Obviously we would like more fans at the games and if it is on TV I agree there should be more of a financial reward.

Right , I contacted Queens through the 'chat ' option on the OS and asked about BBC Alba . Mark Blount just emailed me earlier on with the reply. Queens make a little amount 'tokens' off Alba for the live screening but it doesn't really cover what you lose with less away and home fans . This is especially costly if you are playing a team with a traditionally larger away support .The league sees games going out live as a way of promoting the Championship rather than one with much financial rewards . There is going to be a review about whether to continue with the live coverage of league games but the live cup games are here to stay. Just want to say that I would thank Alba for at least making the effort to show games and their half time 'insight ' into whoever is playing has been excellent with a look behind the scenes at the partitular clubs.

After watching most of the games on Alba the half - time insight part of the programme imo is, in the main, far more interesting than the football.
