Pretty much for the same reason a lot of guys follow their team - they live nearby/members of their family followed the club and brought them along at some stage/they were a good team when the guy first got interested in fitba - or a combination thereof. Tims don't have a monopoly on decent football fans you know. Not even the Dons do.
