    New BBC channel

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-39042666

Since our TV is rarely on (North Tonight/Reporting Scotland/Channel 4 News occasionally), I doubt this will make much difference to me, but the hour-long 9pm factual slot MUST be kept free of political interference. You know the dangers.

    Without a doubt.

Weekly episodes of Only An Excuse will undoubtedly be commissioned shortly.

On a Radio 'Scotland' snippet I heard yesterday, there were calls asking for more coverage of issues of a local nature outside the Central Belt.
