    Hibs 2-2 Dunfermline

Well that almost turned into a disaster!!

Started how we ended Wed, on fire, a slip from Gray let them back in. But as soon as Fontaine went off we collapsed.

I always thought Bartley would make a cracking centre half, my god did he struggle, we were a bit better once young Crane went to ch and big Marv back into midfield.

We have massive problems in defence, Hanlon and Forster out, if Fontaine is out, we only have McGregor!!!

Worse news, McGregor is suspended for the QF against Ayr, if Fontaine is out, we have NO centre halfs

    Also thought we looked jaded.

    Ratings:

Marciano = 9 - Saved us a point, and I cant believe I'm typing that. what a keeper.

Gray - 6 - played well until 35 min mark, felt sorry for him, he couldn't do anything about slipping for their first.

Fontaine - 7 - Solid until injury, still think the tackle on him was a red.

McGregor - 6 - solid, then was all over the place after the break, like the whole team

    Stevenson - 6 - see above.

    McGinn - 6 - decent first half, stinking 2nd

    Fyvie - 3 - woeful

    Shinnie - 6 - good first 30, then.....

Boyle - 7 - good goal, and tried to go direct, but faded.

Holt - 8 - Best player on the park IMO.

Cummings - 7 - Goal and looked unplayable, then disappeared.

    Subs:

Bartley - 4 - terrible at CH, improved once back in midfield

Crane - 6 - Thought he did ok

    Keatings - 5 - hardly a touch.

    REF - 1 - useless.

We were a tad lucky to get the draw last night and Dunfermline looked like they were going for it at 2-2, big Rocky saved us and a lesson for lennon to have another capable defender on the bench instead of two keepers. We looked like we were going to run away with it at 2-0 bt unfortunately Gray slipped to let them in. After liam got injured we hit the skids and we lost our momentum.
If Mcgregor is out for the Utd game then we will have to bring in an out of contract CH for cover and I would play Gray in the centre with him and one of the young right backs in his place.

McGregor ok for Utd game, he's suspended for the Ayr cup game at the weekend.

3 big games coming this next few weeks, St Mirren away on Wed, Cup against Ayr on Sat, then Dundee Utd away the following week.
