    Annual Accounts

The club has published annual accounts for the year ending May 31, 2016.

    Overview
-Turnover rose by £7.1m to £22m
-Losses up by £5.3m to £9.8m.
-Our assets have increased by around £10.5 million to £36 million.
-Matchday receipts rose from £10.1m to £16.3m.
-Wage bill up 44% on previous year.
-Chansiri paid just short of £1 million to sponsor shirts & areas of the stadium.

It look pretty much as expected from a team being funded by a wealthy shareholder in order to push for promotion to the Premier League.

    FFP
Clubs in the Championship are allowed total losses of £39 million over the course of 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19. Looks like Chansiri has us on target to pass FFP.

So putting our total revenue of £22 million into perspective: when you consider PL parachute payments to relegated clubs is £40 million (year 1), it just shows how much teams like Norwich and Villa are underachieving this season.

We are underachieving DMB..No might about it.....It needs to improve, because there's no way we can win a playoff playing like this, if we manage to stay in them....Our play is still easy to nullify. (Hull style).....CC has been blessed with the biggest treasure chest in the club's history..And we aren't cutting it.....Its evident for all to see...We can pretend there isn't a problem though...We're still 6th, Carlos is a nice bloke...and we nearly went out of business a few years ago.

I know you've prev talked about a stronger presence in midfield Mick, but looking at what we can do here and now
1 Keep the ball on the ground (aim for faster, more athletic movement from the likes of FF Bannon and Wallace) when delivering to our strikers. We aren't learning from our mistakes....if we want to lump it fwd for a knock down, might as well have Dave on the pitch. JRhodes was out-jumped time and again by Leeds defence - even if he won it, no-one to push it to. It was summed up late in ER game when that diagonal cross went to FF...he was supposed to out jump 2 giants
2 Apply the pressure we usually apply after 60 mins from the off. Recent narrow and unconvincing wins papered cracks, which unsurprisingly surfaced with in the Brentford and Leeds games. Let's try and get ahead early..it suits us.

CC has enough time between now and our anniversary season 2017-18 to demonstrate he should be at the helm if we make it to PL. He talked about goals...entertainment - said he was ok if they scored 2, long as we scored 3. Right now though, it's more anxiety than self-assurance....despite the arrival of some great new players.

Wednesday get richer by the year!

Loans by an owner simple means giving. Loan by an outside agency - bank - is something else. So this coop type argument from the bitters isn't applicable.
