Charlton lose again away this time at the hands of Northampton Town by two goals to one. Charlton's goal was scored by Jordan Botaka on 34 minutes, Town's goals were scored by Matt Smith on 32 minutes and John-Joe O’Toole on 62 minutes.

Charlton now find themselves at the wrong end of the L 1 table in 16th nearer to the relegation places and desperately in need of a win.
