Zooms signs for next season

I'm very pleased that Bakayogo has triggered the follow-on clause in his contract and he stays with us for next season.
He's a lower league player - with good days and bad ones - and he's the guy we need to feed the attack, as well as being a frightening prospect for a defender as he hares down the wing.
Hopefully this will also be the start of some more positive decisions in a squad that's largely out of contract at the end of this season.

Excellent news, providing we remain a League club, but on the basis that we will remain a league club and as Guthrie will be moving on at the end of this season, we need someone to fill that left back spot. Bakayogo was first choice there before Artell took charge and is currently playing in place of Guthrie so this is very positive news.

My opinion, for what that's worth. Bad news! We need a proper full back in, and Zooms isn't. He was dropped and is only in due to injury, and he was poor on Sat - can't defend, doesn't attack enough. Not sure what his role is.

Saddled for another 12 months - great start to the clear-out, keeping a player whose been poor in a poor team.

Still, look on the bright side, we can blame Davis for giving him the ridiculous contract
