    Kingy is 70 18th April

Hey everyone. My name is Charlie and my dad Bryan King turns 70 on the 18th April.
I would like to invite you all to take part in his birthday surprise.
The aim is to produce a compilation video of birthday messages and I would like to invite you all to send me your messages. Then my plan is to surprise him with it on the 20th April when he is in the UK.
The aim is for the videos to be 15/20 seconds long simple format, filmed on your phone. But if you simply want to send a selfie holding a message too then that would be fine.
I have set up a special email address kingyis70@gmail.com this can be shared with everyone that you think might want to contribute.
Please help me surprise him. It's not often he is left speechless and I managed it 10 years ago when I last posted on forums asking for emails and pictures to go in a big red book to celebrate his 60th. The response was phenomenal.
This time I am trying to go one better.
My aim will be once it's finished and he has seen it to make it available on YouTube.

Because there will need to be time to cut it together the deadline is 6th April.

    Thank you in advance

Awesome pic there and it reminds me of our own great Peter Downsborough of the same era

I think I might do a bit as a Swindon fan

Awkward, you are right but he was not playing when I first started watching the Lions.

Thank you so much = got my first video today - so the project has now started. Love the pic - I got that some years ago blown up as a canvas in black and white with just the ball in colour - he's a hard man to buy presents for

I remember seeing him play a few times in the early 1970's, he was one of the best uncapped English goalkeepers around. Unfortunately he played in an era when we were blessed with excellent keepers.
