We shouldn't get too despondent. There will be ups-and-downs after every round of matches. Yes, we have two tough ones coming up, but - amazingly - all our fellow-battlers have two difficult away games in a row too! Bristol City go to Brentford and Preston; Burton visit Huddersfield and Newcastle; Forest's next two are at Preston and Wolves; Wigan go to Newcastle and Ipswich. If we include Birmingham, they're away to Ipswich and Brighton. Quite spooky, really, the way the computer has arranged these fixtures!
Any team that picks up a win from that lot will probably move up several places.
I feel a bit more cheerful now that I've spotted this freakish sequence.
