Foreign teams with foreign managers owned by foreigners, don't really give a crap.
At least Man U used to be somewhat different with a British manager who brought his own players through, now they're no different to Chelsea or Man City.
And so it comes down to the Semis now, and a very predictable 'big four' line up... Arsenal v Man City, & Tottenham v Chelsea.
Do any of us really care now who wins it this season ?
They don't really care, they play reserve teams, so why should we?
Also never been the same since they switched it from 3pm.
Its never been the same for a number of reasons, and using Wembley for the Semis as well as the final is ridiculous.
I think this season though has been the worst one ever for managers picking weaker 'reserve' teams. But if the Fa arent going to do anything about it, it will only get worse.
Very sad about the demise of the cup. It was the highlite of the season until the mighty sky changed the face of football. I can remember almost every final back to the mid-sixties, but can recall very few of the league champions of those particular seasons.
Semi finals are played there to pay back the cost of building the stadium.
The FA Cup is a joke. Last nights game the pundits were creaming themselves over what a great game it was. Basically it was an ordinary game, very much in the bland Premiership mould. Only Costa's antics made it just about watchable (whilst doing something else on the tablet/lap top)
