An excellent victory and fully deserved three points. Chances galore created and finally we manage to put a couple of them away. Another line-up that was questioned before kick-off, but justified at the final whistle.

What i watched last night from Wolves hasn't been seen in the league since the Blues and Newcastle away games. Wolves pressed the opposition, looked dangerous each time we went forward and also managed to keep their playmaker Ryan Woods quiet. We never gave him much time on the ball. It was against the run of play that Brentford took the lead and opened Wolves up with ease, allowing Colin the time to get on the end of the through ball to score, arguably the home sise's best move of the game. Even then, i still thought Wolves would get more chances in the game. In the first half Bentley was the busier of the two keepers, both Edwards and Evans going close. Ikeme, bar the goal, saved the one chance that he came his way.

Sometimes in games you often think it's going to be your night and as soon as Dicko hit the bar with a powerful effort, it did cross my mind, the same goes for the effort Doherty put into the side netting. But Wolves kept plugging away and got their rewards late on. The passing and movement once Cavaleiro and Marshall came on was superb. Brentford could live with either of them and same goes to Costa and Weimann, keep the ball on the deck and all four were a massive threat. Costa was a target all not for the home side, doubled up on him and fouled so many times, but credit to him, he kept on going, got up and carried on.

I don't care how the ball ends up on the net, it was a relief to see Doherty score from close range. A great ending to the game with Costa's winner. Credit to each and every player who played next night, they all played a big part in the victory, they have all given themselves something to build on. Both Evans and Saville have set their own standard now, it's what they do with it when called upon next!
