Assuming that the Queen's players are fully up for this game it should be a good one. I think that there are at least two Scotland under 21 players in each side who are pleasing to the eye and can create or take chances for either team. With Brownlie suspended then we have the well established partnership of Higgins and Dowie back at the heart of the defence and this is an opportunity for both to show the manager that they deserve a contract extension for next season and certainly both have something to prove with very mixed performances so far. I expect a few goals from both teams and an exciting game, Mon the South.

Can only hope Marshall is fit enough to start . Hamill isn't good or fast enough for this level anymore IMO

Nervous for today's game, St. Mirren 3-2 earlier in the season was my first proper game supporting QOS hoping for a much better outcome in today's game...but going more in hope than expectation.

Naysmith taking pelters from irate fans on two different threads on Pie and bovril site for his tactics, his positional selections of players and today (Sunday) his criticism of the players.

Strange how it never seems to be the manager's fault when results go wrong on the pitch, yet he selects the team and tactics? LOL

I wonder if Queens should revert back to the old method when the Board of Directors or should that be "BORED" pick the team. Each one could select four players each which would give 12 players, with one player being the first substitute on and then pick the other subs from a lucky dip?

Water under the bridge I know but Scott Mercer will not be pasting the D and G Standard's match report into his scrapbook after the paper's reporter highlighted 3 times the absolute roasting he got from the Saints winger Lewis Morgan.
