Cheap option again. Typical MFC. Found out in 6 months at Oldham and yet the powers that be reckon he's good enough to manage us. Hope it's not a long term contract. I think this appointment will cost us our place in the league

The appointment I feared was in the cards form the get go.
McGhee might have reason to question a conspiracy if he wasn't the one to invite Robinson back to the club.
But his irrational/angry behavior combined with some of the worst results in recent history were his own undoing.

If this wasn't the plan all along, then it shows the club are totally without a clue or quite realistically totally skint.
Very disappointed. If relegated then those who made this appoint should leave as well.

Typical. We knew all along he would get the job because the people running our club have no vision. Pissed off.

No surprise as his recent exit/recall from Oldham would appear not a coincidence but a cunning plan.
BBC radio mention contract only until May’18 …. it will pass quickly and hopefully within SPL.
Disappointed and and lack of vision

Did anyone really think our board would do anything else?
Cue the 'constructive dismissal' claim now from McGhee !!

Short contract length suggests that the board aren't sure either. Hope it goes well...

No doubt the cheap option, and lkliehood is if we stay up he keeps his job, relegation and he is out the door.Only thing I can say in his defence excuse the pun is that unlike McGhee he isn't afraid to make changes no matter when in the game. Can only hope he can keep us up and wish him all the best for the rest of the season
