    Strongest team?

Just wondering what people believe was possibly the strongest man for man Wolves team ever. I know it's difficult to compare but here's mine from the late 50's early 60's.
    Bert Williams :
    Bill Shorthouse, Eddie Clamp :
Bill Slater, Billy Wright, Ron Flowers :
Jimmy Hancocks, Peter Broadbent, Roy Swinbourne, Denis Wilshaw, Jimmy Mullen.
(I was really young then, never could understand why Denis Wilshaw's nickname was 'Gladys')

Probably as good as it gets. Other considerations could be Eddie Stuart and Jimmy Murray?

The Gladys thing is a new one on me. Can anybody cast any light on this?

These are players I've only read about, heard first hand accounts about and seen limited black and white footage of......but even that's enough for me not to doubt that line up.

Can't disagree with most of the selections. However, I feel that Peter Knowles would have to be in a best ever team. Johnny Hancocks, not Jimmy.

    MALCOM FINLASON

    GEORGE SHOWELL DEREK PARKIN

MIKE BAILEY BILLY WRIGHT RON FLOWERS

NORMAN DEELEY PETER KNOWLES JIMMY MURRAY PETER BROADBENT WAGGIE

Based on the players I've seen, left out some great ones though, just shows what a special club we are. Not where!
