You haven't offended me at all, I'm just sick of the annual "Let's be Irish for a day, wear green and LOOOVVE Guinness for a day, hey my great great grandad had an Irish Setter once, whoah, it is their country after all" brigade.
Some tw@t at work said to me yesterday, "I'm off tomorrow for my yearly Guinness fill."
I asked why, you are English and pubs sell Guinness all year round.
But hey, I'm sure the Irish, Scottish and Welsh will be falling over each other to post on here April 23rd.
My better arf wanted me to go ooot for the craic last night but I flatly refused on the grounds of there being all did hype n all dat.
I do have a great nan who was of the southern side of ireland but the once a year be Irish ting does get me goat to be sure.

As i have said many times on here my late fathers side of my family are from New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland. Ok i support West Ham because i was born there , But i am still Irish/ English and proud
