Something Rowett needs to sort out

We played well up until 70 and then decided to go deep, you could see that coming a mile off, when you drop deep like that and invite none stop pressure for 15 minutes its always going to happen.

Overall it was decent because Vyd scored again, Nuge scored and 25 minutes we looked very good on the attack, hit the bar, their goalie pulling off 2 wonder saves to keep them in it.

Rowett will take it and its something to build on
One thing I did notice was even first half we were trying to move the ball quicker and forward even though we were giving it away too much ,but the signs are positive
Just need a commanding centre half for me who will organise us

I loved the fact that we actually moved the ball from defence to attack in pass and got it near their box quickly.. instead of this tippy tappy c*** we've had to endure for 18 months.

Was actually an entertaining game in the second half, we actually looked dangerous and looked like scoring when attacking for once lol

And I like Rowett, blames the ref etc, a proper manager.

So it wasnt you that said this upthread:

"We are still the same c*appy slow go merchants we were last week.

I'll say it now, if Rowett with his siege mentality can't motivate this lot to put a shift in then no one can, I thought we'd at least hit the ground running on that alone but no no, this lot don't put shifts in for no f*****.. ship the f****** lot of them out in the summer and lets rebuild, Mel. Rowett will do well in time, after he's got his own type of player in, because ffs none of this lot are a Rowett player."

    Make your mind up FFS

Actually the manager explained the substitution. He told the players to run until they were ready to drop and then if need be he would substitute them. No criticism of the player, just that tired players are more likely to make mistakes.

You're the Middlesbrough to Newcastle, the Walsall to Wolves. The lesser city wets it's proverbial pants in anticipation for weeks.

Don't worry, we still care about you more than your DLA mates Leicester though.
