Phil Brown - only 12 months left on his contract.

Southend have dipped recently so I doubt they will be going up

    I don`t do Twitter.
I've no idea what he does or says on twitter.
I'm saying that's his job, he offers his services to a wide range of people (not just footballers) he's good at it by the looks so why would he want to commit to one club

It's Paul Cook currently at Portsmouth
Unearthed some great young players when manager of Chessy.
Passionate , vociferous, irritating...reminds me of someone and that's the type of Manager Tone says he wants.
Sounds like Ken Dodd on laughing gas.....what's more to like

mmm..so hes going to come to a town club which can get no more than 9,000 of its own fans, and leave a club thats 4 times the size in potential...add to that, little money to spend...well at least we can dream...

He`s worked with local Ice Hockey clubs, Forest, Doncaster Rovers and abroad in the States with NHL Buffalo Sabres.
He has all the qualifications needed.
Ross Burbeary approached the club not the other way round, he offered his services, as far as I`m aware he`s still Sheffield based so when Paul Warne is made assistant manager the club ought to be looking at appointing Ross or someone with the same capabilities on the training ground.
If you don`t ask you don`t get.

jolly, you pinched the " underwhelmed " quote from me.......I`ve been using that quote for quite some time......

I was told by a Chesterfield fan that Mr Cook's position at the club was untenable due to a number of alleged off the field incidents.
