With an international break this weekend, Wolves won't welcome Cardiff until the next weekend. International breaks have not been all that great for Wolves. Since returning to the Championship for the 14/15 season, Wolves have a record of 1-7-3 in the first match back from an international break. We have drawn our last 5 matches coming back from a break. Our last win, was a 2-1 victory over Forest in March of 2015. With three wins in a row, the break came at the wrong time for Wolves.

Since sitting in the relegation zone in early December, Cardiff have been a much steadier squad and have climbed from 22nd to 13th in about three months time. Since the beginning of the new year, Cardiff are 8-3-4 in league play. For that stretch of games, that's promotion form as it would end up with 82.8 points on the season. When we played them in December, we let an early lead slip away as we gave up two second half goals, one in the '86 minute to Anthony Pilkington. Their leading scorer this season has been Kenneth Zohore, who now has reached double digits on the season. Pilkington has chipped in 7. They have scored the 7th most goals in the league this year, conceding the 7th most in the league. But they're in solid form the past few months, so I don't expect an easy match. Our form at home has been bad, with only 6 points from 15 at Molineux since the start of the new year and only 18 from 51 on the year. Yikes. But I'm seeing a draw.
