It's a shame Lallana's effort didn't go in instead of hitting the post. England are looking dangerous on the break.

A big let off for Germany if you ask me, Dele Alli could very well rue the chance he squandered.

Excellent, unstoppable effort from Podolski, no chance for Joe Hart, 1-0.

Podolski's goal worthy of winning any game and it does for this one. England had chances, especially the first half. It's been said many times, it's all about scoring, possession counts for nothing if the ball isn't put in the net.

Podolski's goal was about the most perfect placement. Not sure how much more in the top corner of a goal you can get without actually hitting it just on the inside of the post or crossbar.

The performance was promising from us, but Im not sure what we're meant to take from only a friendly. And Germany werent at full strength either.
