Charlton Mad pays tribute to PC Keith Palmer who was so sadly killed on duty defending the public in a terrorist incident yesterday at Westminster.

Keith, a Charlton fan, and season ticket holder sat in the East Stand. We send our condolences to his family and friends as well as the other victims of the incident which took place on Wednesday afternoon.

We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Keith and to all his colleagues in the Police who put their lives on the line to keep us safe and prevent crime.

Charlton Athletic, by way of a tribute, has placed a red and white scarf on his seat which will remain until the next home game on Tuesday, April 4th. It is hoped the Club will also commemorate his life at the game itself.
