I'm actually hoping dex will come good next season. League one defenders are not as smart as championship defenders so he should be able to find a bit more space. He's never been blessed with pace and most of his goals were scored with his head which will rely on bray Taylor forde Newell to supply the right ball but mostly if he fails and TS decides to pay him up that will be a massive lump out of our budget.
Kooomon dex. Have a look at yourself

does make me wonder whether there is a coach out there that could bring the best out in him? Like NW did with Halford

But seriously though, is he worth the effort?

If all our forwards are fit at the start of the new season, would he get a start?

    I doubt it.

fair point Jolly, but with all the money he's getting, seems a waste like it was with Halford for too long

Yes would be nice but I doubt we would ever see anything near "payback" with him.

I would go as far as to say he might be disruptive because most if not all of the rest of the squad are earning less than him. There's got to be some resentment.

Put him on the transfer list on a free, bite the bullet, get rid and move on.

Talking of getting rid I see the local council has bought the Rotherham magistrates court for £1

We should offer him free plus £50k, some lower league club must need the money (besides us) and we'd save ourselves a fortune.
