Robinson's plan pays off at Ibrox

Motherwell took a point at Ibrox and came very close to taking three. Moult's early opener was cancelled by Garner's second have equaliser but with both 'keepers in form the game finished 1-1.

Christ what a difference to the utter sh1te we've had to endure over the years there , we actually went there to try and win and we should have , however would have taken a point if offered this morning.

Agreed. Right from the off we had a go. Easily the best day at Ibrox (apart from the play-off) in decades.

Sure was a great and solid performance today. That 1 point could be our salvation, but another shift on Wed like that will do nicely!

It would be nice to see LSM making a post to praise the team, but that would be pushing it....Lol

I was a bit peeved at the appointment of Robinson but I'm starting to like the cut of this mans jib. It's early in his tenure, but i was interested how he was going to cope with the lead up to this game then how we were going to set up at Ibrox. He was positive in the lead up and followed it up by being positive on the pitch as well. His after match interview was even better when he said a few decisions went against us but you never get those at Ibrox. What a refreshing approach after McGhee's feeble attempts.

IMO it says a lot for our manager and players when you go to places like Ibrox and their goalkeeper is man of the match! Just hope the good performance continues on Wednesday night against Accies and the fans have plenty to cheer about.

By all accounts should have won and disappointed not put game beyond doubt first half and taken 3 pts.
We could look back on Wednesday in anger as never confident when play our close neighbours.
However, pleased with improvement and hopeful of relegation escape.
