    Centre-Backs?

What will the pairing be against Barnsley?
Mulgrew, Lenihan, Ward and Greer will all be unavailable, presumably.
I suppose that just leaves Hoban and Brown, if we don't want to bring in youngsters.
We seem to have been plagued in this particular position all season!
It's specially annoying as this looks like a good time to be meeting Barnsley. They're on a poorish run and don't have much to play for.
As was predictable, not a lot has changed after the last two sets of fixtures, but we now have some games where we have a realistic chance of victory. I hope these centre-half injuries don't cost us.

    Is ward and greer injured?
I thought ward had overcome his injury at least I hope so
the thought of brown at the back fills me with dread.

I'm hoping to be on , but having Brown 'making up the numbers' is making me equally nervous.
Let's hope Steele doesn't feel the same!

I can confirm greer is out for at least 2 more weeks but ward is available
problem is he hasn't featured on the bench since Mowbray arrived so either he is not fit or does not fit in mowbrays plans
so Brown and hoban in front of a very shaky Steele for one of the most crucial games of the season
    oh dear.

Robin - I think it's most likely that Ward hasn't been quite match-fit. Even now, it might be risky to play someone with so little game-time. All the same, it does seem to be less of a risk than Brown. TM mentions this being a chance for "experienced" players, so he clearly isn't thinking of drafting in one of the youngsters.
I suppose there is always the option of playing Nyambe in the middle, with Lowe at right-back.
