Hi Millers,

Hope you're all doing okay and not too down after what must have been a testing season. Hopefully it won't be too long until we're playing each other again.

This is just quick post to warmly invite any of you who fancy a pre/post match and/or a wood fired pizza to Preston's best pub, The Moorbrook on North Road (PR1 1NR). The heritage pub is a favourite with both home and away fans and combines great beer with a fantastic friendly atmosphere.

With 7 cask pumps and 5 keg taps The Moorbrook offers some of the best ale from the UK and beyond with beers from Wild Beer, Gloucester, Revolutions, Belleville, Redemption, Ramsbury, Ashover and Blackjack breweries currently on the bar. For those not into their ale there is Belgium brewed Moorbrook & Campus pilsners, Guinness, Thatchers Cider and Stella 4 on draught with bottles of Paulaner and Augustiner pilsner, Peroni Red, Timmermans fruit beer and Old Mout cider in the fridge. There is also a wide range of wines and spirits.

Food wise The Moorbrook has it's very own wood fired pizza oven cooking home made pizzas with a variety of toppings. These start from £5 with the oven located in the beer garden at the back of the pub next to a handy second bar you can beat the queues at when it's busy.

The Moorbrook is a handy halfway point between Preston railway station and Deepdale lying 15 minutes walk from each. For those in the car/coach/minibus there is a huge car park to the rear courtesy of a recently closed B&Q at £2.50 for 12 hours.

For more information please see either @themoorbrook on Twitter, The Moorbrook on Facebook or www.themoorbrook.com.

Also worth a visit is The Guild Ale House. Located in Preston City Centre this microbar is a five minute walk from the railway station and ten minute walk from The Moorbrook and offers six cask and six keg beers with four fridges crammed full of craft, Belgium and German beers. If you like your ale without the noise of music and television then the GAH is your place.

Safe journey and see you tomorrow
