Blow Your Face Out is a stupendous live album, far better than that AOR Centerfold ****e that they gravitated to, toi make money.
There was a good DVD of the band, filmed just before they sapped out. Released around the end of 2014 if my files are dated right:

House Party Live In Germany finds The J. Geils Band at an interesting cusp in the band’s development, as they began to leave behind the scorching, powerful blues which endeared them to many, to pursue a more mainstream rock approach which was to bring international chart success. It’s 1979, and Sanctuary, the follow-up to the cross-over Monkey Island is being toured, meaning that a significant part of the set is given over to this material.
Peter Wolf commands the stage, with harpist Magic Dick a perpetual visual foil as the band mach schau. Ecstatic audience reaction to a dynamic and explosive performance demonstrates that even when unfamiliar material is presented so forcefully, communal joy is the result. Yet, it is the piano ballad ‘Teresa’ that impresses most, with Wolf and keyboardist Seth Justman playing off each other and drawing rapt attention from the pumped-up, chanting crowd.
The finale, of course, features all the soulful hits, including the majestic ‘Pack Fair And Square’, and it’s to the band’s credit that they pour as much energy into these as has gone into the showcasing of their new album.
