FA Rejects Appeal Over Larsson Red Card

An FA statement said: "An Independent Regulatory Commission has rejected a wrongful dismissal claim from Sunderland's Sebastian Larsson.

"The midfielder was dismissed for serious foul play during the Black Cats' Premier League fixture against Manchester United on 9 April, 2017

Larsson's three-match suspension remains in place."

.. If it had been Man U, it would have been rescinded. Mind you if it had been Man U, it wouldn't have been a red in the first place .. Still, it's not like he is likely to be missed atm ..

Seems to me, they think you've been stinking out the prem for long enough, so they've had no option but to apply the Febreze the only way they can.

.. Do you think Benitez is the right man to lead you in the Prem .. His playing style is coming under a bit of stick from you lot. And defending, while hoping to pick up points does not seem to be working at the moment ..

Benitez is good enough, most of the players are not. Time for fat ass to put his hand in his pocket.

    Exactly this.

To be honest, Andy, although it's not where you want to be, you'll be over it before the season starts and which would you prefer...losing most weeks in the Premier League or winning regularly in the Chimpo?

.. Congrats mate .. I'm already over it, looking forward to getting rid of a lot of dead wood and winging some games. Last year would have been a killer for us but we will be OK. Main disappointment is for the people who lose their jobs. We've spent that much time near the bottom we can't really complain ..
