Maybe I'm in the minority, or even in isolation. But just read PL's 'piece' in LT, an for me he says it just exactly as I view it.
Venkys are the prob and he doesn't/didn't buy into it. With that whilst saying the supporters don't deserve that sort of 'treatment'.
That doesn't make him a wonderful guy per se, but in my mind at least doesn't position him a devil, or turncoat in the way many view.

it's good that he has come out and said of his dislike on the venkys running of the ship (who knew)

For me, 'just part of the game' ie his present employers are WW, so his general approach is towards the 'support' of his current charges. As for the OC comment, again pretty much standard stuff in regards the 'managers union'.
Nothing really new or novel about that really.
As for our task made much harder because he is their manager, I don't buy into that at all really. He's not for example lacing up his boots and stepping out onto the park.
TM fervently wants to inspire HIS charges for a complete performance, but once they are off onto the pitch that's it, it's up to them.
Much the same really.
