Very impressed by ME. Not impressed by the incredibly stupid questions that were asked by some people who don't or won't listen. One of them is a Pompey Councillor? Thick and as small minded as they come. Am not surprised ME wants 100% ownership. I had concerns about fan involvement but he addressed those in his speech at the start. The last thing he'd need is petty, self absorbed people interfering like some of those who asked questions.

Totally agree PompeyScarf..........some of those "shareholders" totally embarrassed themselves........especially the councillor who must have been asleep throughout the whole presentation! I was empressed by Eisner, he had obviously done his homework, displayed a great sense of humour, spoke directly/passionately about why he chose Portsmouth FC and where he sees the Club heading! No mad promise(s) but I interpreted an acceptance and willingness to redevelop a Fratton Park? Did anyone else get them impression? The only slight negative (and he recovered it well) was the use of the dreaded "franchise" word!!!! Pleased he clarified the role of the Heritage Group, the issue with the Clubs crest, and the 15mile distance clause regarding a new stadium!!! (SO post code completely ruled out! Along with the Isle of Wight!). My head is now saying "yes" but I won't lie it is with a very heavy heart.......it's been nice being the custodian(s) of OUR own Club!

I can't vote but it would be a yes from me. It's a shame as you say Phil, but I think ME is the only way to go forward now. I can't imagine any other potential owners going to the lengths he has or having the credentials.

The Councillor you refer to represents Drayton and Farlington, he led the fight against our proposed Farlington development. The one in which the now departed Geese won, they have found pastures new to graze in their winter visits. With a heavy heart too I shall vote Yes

The voting starts tomorrow doesn't it? It'll be interesting to see whether a decision is announced before the deadline for voting.
