Tbf, I only suggested it could be interpreted that way. Not a character I'm really familiar with...was he whose name shall not be mentioned a 'solenoid robot'?

Given the incomprehensible nature of his dialogue, I would suggest that you have definitely got something there. Good job I had Yank, Doodle, Dan and Dee to save me from his clutches. Decide amongst yourselves who you care to be!!

    Derby champions. If not
Derby promoted in second place. If not
Derby promoted via playoffs although I'm not sure I even want to contemplate this after the heartbreak of previous years. If not
    Derby avoid relegation
    Derby finish above Forest
Derby beat Forest home and away
Derby beat Leeds home and away
Derby play football attractive enough that I don't feel like asking for a refund after every game
Derby continue to attract attendances large enough to make me proud to be a Ram no matter how ****e the team are
Derby win at least some of their TV matches
Derby retain the same manager all season, and if not at least Billy Davies not reappointed

Anyone else as big a dreamer as I?

That would be nice. Just what the Doctor ordered before the Pale Rider comes a-hunting!

Blimey...that's cheery mac. What's Clint Eastwood got to do with it anyway?

OTR I would take any ONE of those players over any of the current crop

I share this wish. It's realistic, I just wish our players / managers felt the same.

My Father in Law went to the '46 Final, lucky swine. Never stopped talking about it until his death at 92. Not a bad age for someone who only the year before was in his 4th year fighting the Japs in the Jungle in the Burma Campaign!! Hitch hiked to 'that London place' on back of a lorry. What a change in his life that must have been.

    Not bad at all!!

Perhaps WWIII would be a good omen for the Rams
