It was probably bands like Menswear that ruined britpop. That, the Verve, Oasis and neds.

Still, on the train home after drinks and I'm listening to Salad and the Longpigs and those halcyon days of shine compilations, sunny summers and a half quarter been 15 of us come flooding back.
