About seventy years on and some things never change KCG. I see Mrs. May's husband has an 'interesting' professional relationship with Starbucks and Amazon.

That's what they do when it suit's their needs or fills their pockets . Didn't Margaret Thatcher help to bring an end to Apartheid in Southern Rhodesia and South Africa plus also making lead free petrol available.

...not to mention actually opposing sanctions against South Africa which helped bring about the end of Apartheid.

Ram59, so wanting a socially just and equitable society is loony leftism? Thats what your moniker for me implies, yet you seem to overlook the bit where I said that the Tories throw a few scraps so that the plebs think they are being looked after! I don't say that they stole a number of labour policies, the nergy cap being the latest, its a fact.

The Tories are not so stupid as to overlook the necessity of appealing to the greed of the largely simple masses, but the
ier interests lie in making sure that the rich stay rich and not too many other people become rich! Its not hard to fathom that out, a little research will show clearly who backs the Tories, the make up of their MP's, the conservative philosophy its all there for those who choose to look.

Labour under Blair was cut of the same cloth, but at least did more for the wider populace, but there again money and power do funny things to peoples principles and ideas!

No she did none of these things! But she did wipe out an entire industry and which resulted in thousands of working men on the dole with no alternative employment and fractured communities, resulting in economic and social upheavel which cost the tax payer millions in benefit, health and policing costs all for a political agenda.

So all charges dropped in 14 out of 15 election expense fiddling cases. The only one remaining was reported late.

    Conspiracy theories anyone?

Anag wanted all those MPs sacked even though they hadn't even been charged with anything. Surely, if there had been any wrong doing, it was Tory hq which should have been held to account. If your party hq tells you that the battlebus that's called in your area was on a nation wide tour, wouldn't you agree with them? It's hardly the crime of the century.

It seems daft that 16 police forces from all over the country were trying to prove that the battlebus wasn't national.

How many times during this election campaign are we going to see the leaders of all parties accompanied by their large entourage going to key seats? I bet their costs aren't declared by the individual MPs.
