Corbyn's policy is for a Natonal Living wage, there's a difference, to £10 per hour....to repeat, taking people off benefits, meaning less requirement for cheap labour from overseas, meaning people with more money to spend, meaning the country is paying less in benefits.....that sounds like rubbish to you, fair enough, sounds plausible to me.
Who is going to pay for this increased salary bill? Small to medium companies form the bedrock of this country and after having to take auto enrolment on the chin they certainly cannot afford another jump in employment costs. Since the start of the recession in 2008, companies of all sizes, in all industries, have been squeezed and are having to operate with increased competition at reduced margins. The recent fall in the value of the Pound has made things much tougher in a lot of cases.

A lot of workers don't care how a business is run they care more about caring for their families and putting snap on table etc. If you are a millionaire I would argue that pay could be better for your workers particularly if they are very loyal. Obviously i dont know anything about your personal wealth and dont expect you to tell me and yes I expect you have put a lot of effort/ finance into your business to get where you are but I would argue that there is no need for ANYONE to have extreme wealth when poverty is rife in this country/ the world.

And please don't say everybody has an equal chance to get where you are because that is not true because the playing field in a capitalist society is never level , some are always disadvantaged, and that is how capitalism thrives.

I would imagine that your present wealthy situation is down to luck and being in the right place at the right time along with your hard work assuming of course you came from a working class back ground and didnt have a leg up from daddy.

If you did come from a working class background don't forget the old adage something on the lines of not insulting people on the way up because people remember when you are on the way down.

Roly what's our take on Union bosses who become wealthy, due to their inflated pay packets. Gordon Taylor for example?

I see that all round good egg, Mccluskey has been re-elected today.

    12% turnout.

If you have a business and vote labour you're bonkers, said it before if socialists understood capitalism they wouldn't be socialists.

I've just posted the reasoning behind the policy, just because your warped mind cannot accept that then fine, we all know which way your vote is going, and you know which way mine is, so, either post a good reason and argumant as to why, or don't bother at all.
Your reasoning is rubbish, most immigrants who come here to work get minimum wage jobs, if you increase the minimum wage this will encourage more people to come and work here hence immigration will rise, it's not rocket science.

Nice honest PPB from Labour on now, showing how socialist teachers brainwash children.

It's wrong howdy. They should be on the average wages of their members. If you are aunion leader you have to relate to your membership in a real way it is certainly hypocritical not to
