I think you've answered your own questions regarding contributing factors, given that you've stated that someone in poverty is seen as earning 60% less of the country average wage, the overall impact? simply this, the huge 700% rise in foodbank outlets, the staggering rise in homlesness in the 6th richest country in the world....
Pathetic to be honest, "spend spend spend" you say about the Labour party, the only party to oversee an actuall surplass in our national finances for donkey's years, oppsed to the tories absolute ruination of the economy by it's continuos ability to allow wealth to drain from the country by selling all it's assets to its rich friends, then giving those same rich friends massive tax breaks, yeh, the tory party, the party of strong and stable bullsheite.
