John McKendrick will be in charge on Saturday for the Dumbarton game.
How time flies as it is 15 years - 20th April 2002 since Queens were crowned Division Two champions after beating
Forfar away 3 - 0. Over 800 Doonhamer fans made the trip up Station Park and two goals by Peter (Nellie) Weatherson and another by Sean (Sheepheid)) O'Connor saw many of them invade the park at the final whistle - one of the great days of following Queens.

I remember it well. Good bridies up there too...
A win is very important for Queens this Saturday as the prize money is needed to maintain full-time football at the club. It is clearly evident that the number of fans attending home games cannot sustain a full time playing staff at Palmerston and praise for the board is due for achieving what we have with the limited resources available.
What a fantastic day! I remember that morning the exhaust of my dads car fell off an hour or so before we were due to leave for the game. Luckily the local garage managed to fit a new exhaust and we arrived just in time for kick off. Action packed day!
I wonder if the manager is still planning to play a few youngsters or will he play his strongest 11 to try and regain 5th place
Will be a tough game and with Dunfermline playing Falkirk we should hopefully be back in 5th place tonight.
I am hoping Lyle will be back today so him Dobbie up front with Dobbie scoring the goals to over take Cummings before Hibs play the next league game on Wed against Raith.
Come on Queens!
Well that was awful stuff. Thankfully the season is almost done.
Only consolation is that with St Mirren losing we can`t go down.
You know very well mate that big Bally and the Lockerbie farmer are only honorary directors and have Puff McCall to do with the everyday running of the club !
What hope have you in getting more fans through the gate if the directors can't even be bothered![]()
The manager said as much after the game. He was really critical of the player, with only young Murray escaping due to his age and inexperience.
