Queens rumoured to he signing Andy Stirling from Dumbarton for next season. Squad number 22 yesterday. Former Stranraer player.

The manager lost the game yesterday not the players. First half formation was terrible and his substitutions were completely at the wrong time.

Plenty of space for new players. Wave bye bye to:

    Danny
    Lyle
    Higgins
    Hilson
    Tapping
    3x loan players
    Hamill
    Rigg
    Hand full of youth players

I would reckon Lyle will be staying due to his testimonial year, Carmichael should stay, unsure on Dowie, Higgins and Hilson. Rigg should be away along with Tapping with his injury record but you just never know, as will Hamill I reckon. Not sure on the 3 loan players either.

Wouldn't be surprised if he ditches Dowie as well as Higgins. Personally would keep Dowie though.
We always think it could be Lyle's last year then he comes back. Hes certainly handy to have but I would have him as super sub / 3rd choice. We need to bring a striker in who can ease the reliance on Dobbie.
Danny is gone imo. Although was injured he just hasn't impressed.

Tapping is just what was need in midfield, a creative midfielder but is a injury burden.

The centre back dilemma is certainly an interesting one. Brownlie has went from Bombscare to ever-present. Dowie has went from automatic choice to not playing since the Raith game and Higgins was out injured early season and has been back in the team for the run in, so is probably fresher than other players at this time of the season. The age factor is more against Dowie than Higgins but I thought earlier this season that Higgins would be moving on rather than Dowie but perhaps this could be the other way round now. Both have been great servants to the club but I wouldn't get rid of either just for the sake of it, without getting in able replacements.
Lyle seems certain to stay with his testimonial granted and his attempt at trying to overhaul Thomson and Black's goals tally a good incentive to remain.
Tapping you would reckon is away but if he could miraculously stay injury free and gets some game time in the final two games, you just never know, he may be offered a deal. Hilson in another player that could also just about earn a new deal with his participation recently.

Just to clear things up , the directors were all at different pre-arranged events and it's was a coincidence that they missed the game . After that performance they were the lucky ones
