    Very sad.

I saw one of his too few performances for Albion in one of the non entity cups and then Big Ron "stole"him from us and took him to Villa.

He should've been an Albion legend but like Bull he was lost to us far too early and earned legendary status in a close rival's colours.

RIP big man,you always seemed like a very decent guy when interviewed.

I heard yesterday that he'd had a heart attack.

I'd hoped he'd recover, and head the tragic news this morning.

I think he must have been the last home grown player of ours that went to play for England.

Robbo wanted to resign him and hasselbaink from Boro according to his books.

My deepest condolences go to his family.

    RIP Ugo.

Came across as a very pleasant chap. A sad loss to football and of course to his family and friends.

Sad news and only a year younger than myself. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

    RIP Ugo Ehiogu
