Derby County suggested strategy to beat Sheffield Wednesday

Quicker defence, strong midfield and sharp attack, is what we need to get a top result against Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow and achieve a high league table finish as possible, of 8th and I would certainly like to finish above Norwich that's for sure.

    Who cares, roll on summer.

Rowett seems already sure who's out. if we lose every game until end it may be best it saves polishing a t**d

Just cause our promotion campaign is over, there is still a full gone conclusion to still take place of who is going out and whose staying, as we still have 2 remaining games after today.

It's all about evaluation now to see who performs and who doesn't.

Not sure what can be proved now R4J. Rowett and others - Mel included - will know who has let us down throughout this season and even if the likes of Butterfield and Camara were suddenly to have a couple of 'blinders' it may be too late to change minds now. For me it's now all about the summer and making the right changes for next August.

Of course we are already underway for preparing for next summer ramAnag, but Rowett will have some indication already of whose staying and whose going, but we still have 2 games remaining after today and these player's have still got time left to prove to Rowett, that they are still worth wearing the shirt.

Deffo too late to impress imo, they've had their chance since Xmas, proved to be not up to it!! Time to ship mostof them out.

Have to agree mac. If we'd kept fighting to the last I'd have thought there was time to impress and win over the doubters but it's too late now...nothing to learn from these last few games imo.

ramAnag. There are a lot more than Butters and Camera to go How about Christie Bent Bryson Ince Olson for starters If we are serious about promotion all those should go and even Hughes as was well

I agree mista, they were just examples. Butters has scored a couple recently - well sort of - and I thought if he carried on it might change people's minds. Not done enough for me. Just seems so much change needed, hard to know where to start. Ince is a weird one...candidate for player of the year until recently and now seems to be becoming a hate object again.
    Who would you keep?

Agree.. I would out most of them but that won't happen. How much will Morris bank roll? How much is their resale value?
The only two I would keep are Ince and Hughes but they are our best assets, so they may have to go. Then we have the problem of recruitment, don't get me started on that debacle. Is Rowett the man? I am not sure yet from what I have seen.. Nothing has really changed, no real change if style, strange selections. How Bent starts if Nugent is even 50% fit, I don't know.
So we sell at low prices, buy poorer players at higher prices.. Morris needs a new computer game to get more money in.. Rowett goes before Xmas as we are struggling with a new team. No time afforded to anyone, right or wrong.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are in a right mess.

Way to go R4J, a normal post and low and behold, nobody has a problem with it.
