What is it with Rangers fans?

Football has tragically lost a much respected fomer player Ugo Ehiogu. While the many clubs who he played for have been announcing they will hold a minute's applause in appreciation and respect, over on the car crash forum follow follow Rangers fans are obsessing about point scoring over minute silences/applause in a multipager.

Ehiogu has been disregarded. Its about how Ranngers fans perceive how they do remembrance. Apparently it is a disgrace to have a minutes applause, in fact

'Anyone who claps for someone sadly no longer with us is a grade A scumbag'

And this from one of the site administrators

Why the hell are we expected to cheer the death of someone at a tragically young age? That's disgusting. It's disrespectful to big Ugo, Rangers FC and fans of the club.

Sick, sick *******s. Cheering for a corpse. How low can the Scottish game go?"

It s not about Rangers you idiot.

    Tottenham game

"Both teams will wear black armbands as a mark of respect for Ugo, who passed away in hospital in the early hours of Friday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest at our Training Centre on Thursday.
There will also be a minute’s applause to celebrate the life of the defender who played at the very highest level in the Premier League and Scotland and earned four caps for England during a career spanning 20 years."

A group of Tottenham fans have called on supporters inside Wembley Stadium to hold an additional minute’s applause for Ugo Ehiogu, who died on Friday morning.

    Boro game

AFC Bournemouth have confirmed that there will be a minute’s applause ahead of Middlesbrough's Premier League fixture at the *****ity Stadium and, once again, both teams will be wearing black armbands.

    Villa game

Aston Villa will hold a minute's silence before their derby with Birmingham City on Sunday in honour of their late defender Ugo Ehiogu.

So the clubs and fans of the teams who Ehiogu played more than 7 games for are 'scumbags'

Rangers fans never fail to amaze just how low they will sink to play with their petty obsessions.

This FollowFollow board is the one that allowed a comment about NYFD firefighters after 9/11 that said, "hope they were first up the stairs" after it emerged some of them played in the Pipe Band at a St Patricks Day event attended by Gerry Adams. They really are the scum of the earth.

I only ever hear them banging on about being British, hating Irish and Roman Catholics, singing about battles in Ireland, violence in Ireland, defending walls in Ireland. Only time they mention anything Scottish is the Naz1 supporting ditty about a gang of thugs from Bridgeton during the second world war. They are as Scottish as Nigel Farage and equally as odious.

I've not read the thread but I tend to agree that if you can't have a minute's silence for something because people can't behave, then just don't bother.

There are far too many of these things nowadays.

Even for you that's a bit bizarre.

Sorry, I should've said I read the OP but not through the whole thread or Rangers forum links.
