It was important not to carry the winless streak into next season and to surpass 20 points but it's highly likely we'll enter the record books as the worst ever Championship team, accepting it's only been in existence a dozen years. To erase the record of the appalling Blackpool team of two seasons ago is a terrible indictment of the way the football club has been managed, in its broader sense, this season. And to emphasise that, we're heading for another unenviable record, the most defeats in a season. The saving grace is that the end is nigh and we only have to endure another two games.
